About Miko’s World
Miko’s World is a creative home for children, families and communities who believe that imagination can still be one of the strongest forces for peace.
It brings together music, storytelling, art, travel, animals, friendship and youth dialogue into one warm and purposeful world. At its centre is a simple idea: children do not only inherit the future; they help us understand what the future should feel like.
Miko’s World grows from a lifetime of cultural work, care and convening. It connects the Peace Violin Tour, Kids’ Guernica, YOYO outreach, Kira & Haku, The Signal Room and future learning spaces into a shared platform for creativity, compassion and human connection.
It is not just a website, a campaign or a children’s project. It is a world in formation.
Through concerts, workshops, youth conversations, illustrated journeys, community encounters and digital learning tools, Miko’s World invites young people to ask better questions about belonging, peace, memory, technology, friendship and the planet they are growing into.
Its work is shaped by three guiding words:
Play — because children learn through curiosity, joy and imagination.
Sound — because music reaches across language, border and difference.
Create — because art gives children a way to express what adults often struggle to hear.
Miko’s World also serves as a bridge between generations. It brings children, artists, educators, families, cultural thinkers and global partners into conversation, not through grand speeches, but through stories, questions and shared acts of making.
At a time when the world is becoming faster, louder and more divided, Miko’s World offers something quieter and more necessary: a place where children’s voices are treated with care, culture is treated as a living force, and creativity becomes a way of building peace from the inside out.
